Special Guest Appearance by Tom Mills, Multiple Race Winner and Driver of Loaded Gunn Racing’s GUNN TS8 Sports 2000.

Pathtrace Limited is hosting a VIP Day at Thruxton Race Course, home of the British Automobile Racing Club, on 1st October 2006. Pathtrace sponsor Tom Mills, driver of Loaded Gunn’s GUNN TS8 Sports 2000, which will be driven that afternoon in the Duratec Sports 2000 race. Tom is one of the UK’s premier racing drivers who has clocked up 2 wins out of 4 races already this year at high profile venues such as Brand’s Hatch, Snetterton and Donington Park.

Loaded Gunn Racing’s relationship with the Sports Racing Car Club (SRCC) and Sports 2000 began in 2004 when Jonathan Loader and Gary Gunn created the TS6, effectively a modified Supersports car, which was run with great success in the original SRCC Pro Series Championship. The following season the all new TS7 was introduced taking many race victories and lap records. At the 2005 season finale, a new driver was also introduced: Tom Mills took the helm of the TS7 and gained a podium finish at the prestigious Formula Ford Festival with 2nd in class and 3rd overall.

Tom’s link with the SRCC and Sports 2000 dates back to the late 1990s when his father, Steve, competed in their championships. A fifteen year veteran of the saloon and sportscar racing circuits, Steve sparked his son’s interest in the genre.

2006 has proved an exceptional year for Tom who has driven the GUNN TS8 to victory at 2 of the first 4 meetings – with the British F3/GT race meeting on 1st October, one of the most prestigious events in the 2006 racing calendar - still to come.
